Magazine ranks Charlotte as America's No. 2 airport
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A reader survey by Travel+Leisure Magazine ranks Charlotte Douglas International Airport as the second best airport in the nation.
Charlotte lost out to only Minneapolis-St. Paul. Readers said MSP had the best shopping, food and drink options in the country.
Readers of the magazine and travel website gave Charlotte top marks for its Wi-Fi Internet service, baggage handling, curbside check-in and staff communication.
Location and lounge areas also got high marks.
The lowest rank the airport received was fifth for overall terminal cleanliness.
